The story of inkylines began in 2015, but my passion for drawing goes back much further. After studying Communication & Multimedia Design and working as a freelance web designer for a few years, I felt something was missing. I decided to follow my heart and turn my love for drawing into a career by opening an online shop.

In the beginning, I mainly used black fineliners, which is why I choose the name inkylines. The black-and-white drawing of the robin still holds a special place in my heart -- it's one of my earliest creations.

The adventure with color began with the tom tit in 2018, marking a creative turning point for me. From there, I started experimenting with color and various products; for example, bird-themed birthday calendars, handmade card holders, and frames for displaying your favorite cards. I expanded into bags, storage pouches, mugs, stickers, wall stickers, and iron-on transfers. Some products & illustrations stuck around, others faded away, but every step of the journey has been a learning experience.

Today, inkylines has grown into a real brand -- my products can now be found in over 100 stores across the Netherlands, Europe, and beyond!
